SleepWeaver Elan Soft Cloth Nasal CPAP/BiPAP Mask with Headgear

The SleepWeaver Elan CPAP/BiPAP mask combines the best qualities of the original SleepWeaver with innovative new comfort and convenience features and a low profile design. The soft cloth Elan cushion is ideal for people with sensitive skin and the breathable fabric makes it feel light and natural on the face.
Skin-Friendly Soft Cloth CPAP Mask Cushion: The SleepWeaver Elan CPAP mask features a soft, lightweight, breathable cloth cushion that gently inflates during CPAP/BiPAP therapy to create a comfortable, leak-free seal. The balloon-style cushion presses softly against the face without pinching or pressure points. Because the fabric is breathable, the mask feels cool and dry on the skin and far more natural than traditional plastic or silicone CPAP masks.
Lightweight & Flexible Frame-Free Design: Like all SleepWeaver CPAP masks, the Elan has no rigid plastic frame, allowing the entire mask to flex, bend, and move naturally as you sleep. The lightweight design helps reduce discomfort and mask shifting. A double-swivel elbow allows CPAP tubing to be routed over the head, down the chest, or to the side for greater freedom of movement.
Low-Profile CPAP Mask with Minimal Facial Contact: The SleepWeaver Elan is designed to reduce facial contact in key pressure areas. The smaller cushion avoids contact with the nasal bridge--where many CPAP users experience soreness or chafing--while the low-profile headgear eliminates forehead and overhead straps. This open design makes the Elan ideal for glasses wearers or users who like to watch TV or read before bed.
Easy-to-Use, Quiet, Low-Maintenance CPAP Mask: The SleepWeaver Elan is latex-free and silicone-free, making it a great choice for users with allergies or sensitive skin. Built-in exhalation vents disperse airflow through multiple small openings, minimizing noise and preventing direct air streams that can disturb bed partners. The durable cloth cushion is easy to clean--machine wash with mild detergent or hand wash as preferred. Replacement cushions are sold separately, so you can replace only the parts you need.
Three CPAP Cushion Sizes Available: The SleepWeaver Elan CPAP mask is available in Small, Regular, and Large cushion sizes to fit a wide range of facial shapes. If you’re unsure which size is best, download the sizing guide on this page or upgrade to the Elan Starter Kit, which includes all three cushion sizes and additional accessories.
Multiple Color & Pattern Options: The SleepWeaver Elan mask is available in Blue and Tan. Replacement cushions are offered in five colors and patterns--Blue, Tan, Pink, Camouflage, and Leopard--so you can personalize your CPAP mask to match your style.

No. The SleepWeaver Élan Nasal PAP Mask is intended to provide an interface for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) or Bi-Level Therapy. The SleepWeaver Élan cushion is made from the same kind of high-quality fabric used in winter ski clothing. The part of the mask that touches your skin includes polyester, nylon, and elastane, creating a breathable material that helps wick away moisture and heat to keep you comfortable through the night. Most users have no issues with skin allergies or irritation when using this mask. How long will it take me to become comfortable with the SleepWeaver Élan?

However, it can sometimes take longer than one night to become accustomed to new equipment, especially if you are new to PAP and Sleep therapy. Review the instructions that came with your mask closely; and watch our various video resources for tips and instructions as well.

Yes. We recommend that you connect the oxygen line on the outlet of the PAP machine. (For complete information review the documentation that came with your CPAP/BiPAP machine.
How do I clean the SleepWeaver Mask?
The SleepWeaver should be cleaned by hand washing with a mild, nonabrasive soap in warm water every other day. Never use hot water. Repeat washing until visibly clean. Hand wash the headgear weekly. Rinse well with quality drinking water and allow to air dry out of direct sunlight. Do NOT dry in a machine.
Does SleepWeaver Élan have an exhalation valve?
The exhalation "valve" on the SleepWeaver Élan is a series of very small holes that gently and quietly exhaust the exhaled air from the mask. These holes provide quiet operation without creating a jet of air that makes a lot of noise or can blow on the patient's bed partner. The leak rate provided by the exhalation holes is comparable to competitive CPAP masks.
Can the exhalation valve get plugged or clogged?
As long as the mask is properly maintained and washed the exhalation valve will provide consistent exhaust performance.
Can I sleep on my stomach while wearing the SleepWeaver Élan?
Yes. The air pressure in the mask will keep the mask inflated without pressure points. The mask continues to provide CO2 exhalation as long as a portion of the exhalation holes are exposed.
Can I read or watch TV while wearing the mask?
Yes. There is nothing in the field of view from the mask or headgear. This allows you to wear glasses and read or watch TV while wearing the mask.
I have dentures. Can I still wear the mask?
Yes. The SleepWeaver Élan can be worn by patients with dentures.
What if I want to travel with my PAP system?
SleepWeaver products are the smallest and lightest masks for travel available. They fold into a very small size when not inflated so they will fit easily into any carrying case you would use to travel with your PAP system.
