This Standard Boil 'n Bite Mouthpiece is designed for use with all CPAP Pro "No Mask" CPAP/BiPAP interfaces. It can also be used as an alternate mouthpiece for ApneaPAP interfaces.

USAGE: The Standard Boil N' Bite Mouthpiece is supplied with all CPAP Pro "No Mask" Setup Packs. It can also be used as an alternate, upper teeth only, mouthpiece for ApneaPAP "No Mask" Setup Packs. The Standard Mouthpiece is user adjustable and can be fit at home using only hot water. For best results replace on average every 3 months. For complete instructions review the documentation that came with your equipment.

I FINALLY can tolerate a CPAP

Never could tolerate the masks with straps all over my head and face, so for years I wore a mandibular advancement device--a custom dental mouthpiece--that pulled my lower jaw forward and kept my airway from collapsing while I slept. But as I got older, my OSA got worse and it no longer was effective. Having worn that mouthpiece for more than 10 years, adjusting to the CPAP Pro was a breeze. And the only points of contact with my head and face are the mouthpiece itself and the nasal pillows. Heck I can even talk while wearing it, although I'm not always sure my wife can understand what I'm saying. Molding the mouthpiece itself was pretty easy, although it does loosen a but over time. And the exhalation vents are a little noiser than what I'd tried before, but tolerable. As long as I'm using a CPAP, I'm using this device. And if they ever stop making it, I'll try to rig one up on my own before going back to one of those face-huggers--it's really a gem!

excellent for me

I switched to this device from nose stlyle at least three years ago and has worked well for me. Took a couple of tries to get molded just right the first time for firm fit but now not a problem with my new ones. Also reduces grinding teeth. When molding make sure the material gets fully clear when heating.

easily prepared and remains well fixed to holding position over time.

I was able to form the mouthpiece easily and so far it has held its fit well. I am hoping its durability remains for at least 6 months. My first mouthpiece from the manufacturer came apart after 3 months.

Unsure

I followed the directions fo readying the piece for fit - and I don't know if I bit down too hard or what - but the fit it TOO tight - and I find I still bite the sides of my tongue. Odd.
