Vortex Pediatric Face Masks, from Pari Medical, are designed for use with all Vortex Valved Holding Chambers (VHC). They're a comfortable mask option, available in 2 sizes, for pediatric patients who are unable to use the standard VHC mouthpiece.
These masks are recommended for patients who have difficulty squeezing the Vortex canister and inhaling at the right time, or people who are just uncomfortable with the Vortex's standard mouthpiece. Using a Vortex VHC chamber (spacer) and a Pediatric Face Mask with an inhaler can help deliver more medication to the lungs, and dramatically decrease the amount of medicine deposited in the back of the mouth and the tongue.
