eXciteOSA is the world's first daytime therapy option FDA Authorized and clinically proven to significantly reduce both snoring and Mild Sleep Apnea. Using eXciteOSA for just a few minutes each day targets the root causes of snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) by strengthening weak tongue muscles. With eXciteOSA there aren't any masks or tubes; and there’s nothing to wear at night.

Prescription Daytime Therapy in Just 20 Minutes a Day: eXciteOSA is a prescription daytime therapy designed to reduce snoring and treat mild Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Unlike traditional sleep apnea therapies that are used while you sleep, eXciteOSA is used for just 20 minutes during the day. A standard CPAP or BiPAP prescription cannot be used to purchase eXciteOSA. Your prescription must specifically state "eXciteOSA" or similar wording. Download our eXciteOSA Prescription Form to bring to your doctor.

Strengthen Your Tongue Muscles While You're Awake: eXciteOSA uses mild electrical stimulation to exercise and strengthen the muscles of the tongue. Strengthening these muscles can help prevent the tongue from falling backward and narrowing the airway during sleep, helping reduce snoring and improve mild OSA.

Initial therapy consists of one 20-minute session each day for 6 weeks. After completing the initial therapy period, eXciteOSA is typically used once a week to help maintain muscle tone. Because therapy takes place while you're awake, you can use eXciteOSA at a convenient time during your normal daily routine.

Why Do We Snore?: While we sleep, the muscles of the tongue and throat naturally relax. For some people, the tongue relaxes enough to fall backward and partially narrow the airway. As air moves through the narrowed airway, surrounding tissues can vibrate and create the familiar sound of snoring.

When Snoring May Be More Than Snoring: Loud or persistent snoring can sometimes be a sign of Obstructive Sleep Apnea. With OSA, the airway repeatedly becomes partially or completely blocked during sleep, disrupting normal breathing and sleep. If you regularly snore or suspect you may have sleep apnea, talk with your healthcare provider about appropriate testing and treatment.

Daytime Therapy That Targets Tongue Muscle Function: Rather than wearing a device while you sleep, eXciteOSA works during the day to improve tongue muscle function. The mouthpiece delivers gentle electrical stimulation that causes the tongue muscles to contract, essentially giving them a short daily workout. Over time, improved muscle tone can help keep the airway more open during sleep.

Control & Track Therapy with the eXciteOSA App: The free eXciteOSA App makes it easy to manage your therapy from your smartphone. Use the app to control therapy intensity, track your sessions and progress, and share therapy information with your healthcare provider. Download the eXciteOSA App from the Apple App Store or Google Play. When your order ships, CPAPXchange will register your name, phone number, and email address through the eXciteOSA Portal so your device can be activated.

Updated with LED Indicator Light & Extender Cable: The updated eXciteOSA Starter Pack includes an extender cable and a helpful LED indicator light on the control unit. The indicator lets you quickly check charging status and alerts you when the device needs to be recharged or when moisture is detected in the USB-C connector.

A flashing blue and yellow light indicates that the device should be charged before your next therapy session. The light blinks blue while charging and remains blue when charging is complete. If the light flashes red and yellow while charging, moisture has been detected in the USB-C connector. Disconnect the control unit and allow it to dry for at least 4 hours before attempting to charge it again.

The included extender cable can be placed between the eXciteOSA Mouthpiece and Control Unit to help keep the control unit away from excess moisture during therapy. Use of the extender cable is optional based on your preference.
