In order for your the Transcend 365 Heated Humidifier to preform properly, it does require the use of distilled water to create humidification that is safe for your machine. Using anything other than distilled water can cause the machine to break. The Portable Water Kit- which is available elsewhere on this site - conveniently turns bottled water into distilled water instantly. To ensure the water filters properly, it is important to replace this Water Filter Cartridge periodically.
