The Boomerang Gel CPAP/BiPAP Mask Pad helps increase sleep comfort by decreasing leaks and eliminating pinching and pressure at the bridge of the nose.

The Boomerang Pad is made of a polymer gel manufactured from a proprietary USP grade mineral oil including essential oils. Pads are available in two sizes -- PetiteSmall and MediumLarge -- to fit a wide range of users. Boomerang pads are non-toxic, fully washable, hypo-allergenic, Latex free and silicone-free.

Size Information: The PetiteSmall Boomerang Pad measures 3.4 inches at its greatest width and 1.25 inches at its greatest height. The MediumLarge Boomernag Pad measures 3.7 inches at its greatest width and 1.4 inches at its greatest height.

Usage Information: Before each use wash the Boomerang Gel Pad in warm water using mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with clean water prior to applying to skin. Place the pad on the bridge of the nose and then fit your mask as usual over the pad.

Storage Information: Store only in original packaging. Do not store or place on any other surface.

The only solution that has worked to prevent pressure sores

I have a very narrow nose bridge, and have to strap my mask on very tight to prevent air leaks. This causes a red mark where the mask digs into the top of the bridge of my nose. Over time, this restricted circulation could cause a pressure ulcer. After trying several options, the Boomerang Gel Pad is the clear winner. It prevents air leaks and spreads out the pressure so there are no sores. The gel pad lasts a long time if you store it in its original packaging and wash before use as instructed. It will yellow and shrink if left in open air.

Boomerang Gel Pad trial

I ordered the starter pack so I could try both sizes. While it worked a little better than anything else I tried, (band aids, cotton pads, silicone tape) I still had a problem with it staying in place under the mask. I even tried taping it in the nose area but it still slipped. I use a full face mask with a foam liner around the edge. The thing that worked best was a circle of the gel pad cut from the larger Boomerang pad which was too large for me. I taped it in place with the silicone tape and the result was less redness and painful bruising on the nose.

Useless.

This thing won't stay where you put it long enough to put your mask on over it. It would be helpful if it actually had some king of adhesive to keep it in place. It's a real pain to try to find it in the dark and put it back on after getting up during the night. Would never recommend this product.

Helpful for nose pressure

It has been helpful for the pain on my nose. You do have to position it just right to keep mask from leaking air. I will purchase again.
