This is a replacement Column Pair designed for use in all Inogen Rove 4 Portable Oxygen Concentrators. These removable metal columns contain the sieve beds used, by the Rove 4, to convert normal air into air with high oxygen concentration. Columns Pairs should be changed as needed -- generally every 18-24 months.
A Column Pair (Sieve Bed) must always be in place when the Inogen Rove 4 is in use. Sieve Beds will wear down after prolonged use. In most cases Rove 4 Column Pairs need to be replaced every 18-24 months; however in certain operating conditions earlier replacement may be required -- your Rove 4 will let you know when it's time.
Usage Information: Column Pairs should only be replaced as needed. When replacement is required the Inogen Rove 4 will alert you to the need with a Low Priority Alert reading "O2 Service Soon". This alert means that the columns should be replaced within 30-days. Column replacement is a simple process, that can be completed at home, without any special tools. It is strongly recommended to purchase this item for immediate use, not for storage.
